Yiyu's Exhibition at French Book Shop

After setting foot on the path of an Artist I am once
again amazed at the leftover history at this quiet blocks
of shophouses that bustles at night. It led me to take up
my pen once more. --- Zhu Shengyiyu

restaurant greeted my eyes as i dropped
off the nearby bus stop. sketching from a
distance the restaurant and the bust stop
to mark the start of my new journey.

The interesting difference between Little
India’s shophouses and Tiong Bahru’s is
the height of the shophouses, some reach
3 or 4 storeys high.

The time I reached here was 4pm near
evening where the lunch crowd vanishes
and silence settles into this small town.

When i reached the junction, once again i
attempted a fish eye piece with two
shophouses in view. An attempt to draw as
much as possible.

Description
This large lizard was seen making its
crossing from the pond of Botanic gardens
to the bushes. Everyone was in awe at its
magnificent size and beauty.

This young lizard was too shy to come out
to the open. It kept heading towards the
shrub whenever we were close by and it
went deeper as we approached it.

Description
As taking a stroll at Botanic Gardens i
noticed our local earth dragon, the monitor
lizard, having its lunch break along the
walkways fearless of the crowd that
gathered.

After following one of these lizards for a few
days i learnt that they have a routine of
lying on a grass lawn at one specific area
of the park after their meals.
